How do I find the right truck part?

Finding the right truck part is easy, all you need is the O.E. number of the part. If you don’t have the O.E. number or are unable to find your part manually, get in contact with us today and let us know what you are looking for. All we’ll need is the type of part and the vehicle registration number or chassis number to find it.

Why does my truck keep overheating?

Trucks, and vehicles in general, overheat for many reasons including issues with your radiator, broken water pumps, a leaking cooling system or corrosion leading to hose blockages. If your truck is overheating, it is not advisable to continue with your journey and you should look for a safe place to pull over and allow your engine to cool for at least 15 minutes. If your engine continues to overheat, it is advisable to have it inspected and repaired.

Can I drive with a broken exhaust?

Under the Road Traffic Act 1988, it is illegal to drive with a broken exhaust. Alongside this, you will also experience a bad mileage output, increasing pressure on the exhaust system and wasting more fuel in the process. Driving with a broken exhaust also poses a serious threat to your health as breathing in carbon monoxide can lead to headaches and nausea. If you have a broken exhaust, we recommend replacing and fixing it.

How long should a clutch last on a truck?

Depending on the truck and how well it has been taken care of, a semi-truck can last up to 1,000,000 miles. The clutch's mile life span will reduce if used poorly, which can result in a life span of just 250,000 miles.
