How do I find the right truck part?

Finding the right truck part is easy, all you need is the O.E. number of the part. If you don’t have the O.E. number or are unable to find your part manually, get in contact with us today and let us know what you are looking for. All we’ll need is the type of part and the vehicle registration number or chassis number to find it.

How often should my truck be serviced?

The DVSA encourages any truck older than 12 years should be inspected at least once every six weeks, and more frequently if used consistently. Service inspections are a preventative measure that looks at everything from steering and suspension to lighting and brakes, to make sure the vehicle is maintained and that any small defects are resolved before becoming a greater issue. If the vehicle has no serious issues, an extension on the length of time between inspections can be allowed by the DVSA Traffic Commissioners.

How often should I replace my truck battery?

A truck battery typically lasts anywhere between three to five years and can last longer if maintained perfectly. However, this will be impacted by different factors such as extremely high and low temperatures, usage without the engine running and total driving time. After a five-year period, batteries are more likely to fail without prior warning, so it is best to replace the battery every five years, if not sooner.

What are signs that I have a broken truck exhaust?

There are many signs that you have a broken or damaged truck exhaust, and if you notice any of them, it’s advised to check and fix them as soon as possible. These signs include an engine light appearing, a rattling or unrecognisable popping sound or burning smell coming from your engine or exhaust pipe, and poor fuel efficiency resulting in bad performance.
